Meet Our Staff

Michaela – Practice Administrator

Michaela attended the University of National and World Economics in Sofia, Bulgaria where she is from originally. Michaela’s role as our practice manager includes overseeing all aspects of our four locations. Not only does she take care of the finances for the business, she also helps to educate the staff on the latest OSHA regulations. Michaela has also attended a variety of continuing education seminars that keep her job interesting. When Michaela isn’t sitting behind the desk, she enjoys skiing, jogging and cooking.

Melissa – Billing Manager

Melissa graduated from Furnace High in 1998. Upon graduation, she started working in the dental billing field. She oversees our dedicated billing team. Melissa’s team of Billing Coordinators will make sure patient’s insurance claims are submitted in a timely matter. No matter how complex the questions are, Melissa is determined to find the right answer regarding your personal insurance plan. Melissa is always keeping herself busy by attending C.E. courses on coding, billing, customer service and even software training. Besides her passion for her job, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Susan – Director of Business Development

Susan came to us after successfully completing the educational program in dental assisting at the Delaware County Community College in 2010. She worked as our South Philadelphia office manager and implant coordinator before taking a position as our Director of Operations. She now works with administration, staff, patients and referring dentists to reach operational goals and keep the lines of communication open. Susan is happiest when she is in the company of family, friends and her dogs.

Lara -Billing Coordinator

Joan – Billing Coordinator

Joan has been with us since 2004.  She handles all the insurance claims for Dr. Richman, Dr. Mohan and Dr. Hoang, working out of our Folsom location.  Joan’s duties include sending out our statements, sending treatment letters to the referring dentists and assisting Melissa with posting of our insurance payments.  Joan also fills in at the front desk when needed.  Joan has attended numerous continuing education seminars so she can be up to date on billing and coding.  Joan enjoys spending time with her husband, son, daughter-in-law, and two daughters.
